Hello friends, neighbors, loved ones, and all possible combinations of the three! Many have asked me to start a travel blog about New Zealand, so here we go! Over the next seven months, this will be the place where I post all about New Zealand adventures, experiences, and -occasionally- shenanigans.
(note: I have never been a blogger, so a big shout-out THANK YOUUU to Jenna Finch for all her help setting up!)

As I am still in beautiful CA until February, here's some fun facts about my destination (as I can't post any cool stories just yet!):
I will be studying Psychology and Women/ Gender studies at the University of Otago, located on the South Island in Dunedin.
Dunedin is the second largest city on the South Island, and is a leap, skip and a jump away from neat cities such as Christchurch, Wanaka, Wellington and Queenstown - home of the world's oldest bungy jump! (Will I actually summon up the courage to do it? Time will tell! Stay tuned!)
Here on the right is my home University for the coming Semester - Otago! I will be living in Flats nearby provided by the school with a kiwi host and two other international students: one from Washington, and one from Norway! I've been in contact with my kiwi host who seems extremely fun, and has already taught me a valuable lesson - nobody says "see you later alligator": in NZ. Luckily, she's offered to teach me some new catch phrases. Sweet As!
Needless to say, I am bursting with excitement about this new, upcoming adventure. Love to all, and thanks for reading! E noho rā (goodbye, my friends!)
Always,
Christina
